First off let me congratulate you America: I’m ecstatic and still recovering from the huge sigh of relief that I emitted yesterday morning. Let’s hope this really does bring about change in the future for all of us.
To celebrate, here’s a new track from FDB favourite Damu. Loads of samples thrown into a tight instrumental groove that’s had my head bopping all day. I can’t wait for a full length that my man John at Redefinition Records tells me is dropping in March. Watch out!

What up Dan. Thanks for posting and for your virtual vote, if you will. On a related note, Obama and his team were quick to launch the first political iPhone app, which was cool even if it was said to be a bit buggy and it’s good to see that he isnt stopping there … we have what may be the first “online president” … It’s really interesting to me that the Obama camp appears willing to carry on and continue to use the web as a powerful tool, even after his election… let’s see if anything really comes from his willingness to embrace technology besides posting information over time. Either way, I think a lot of people would say that posting easy to find government information is a great step forward… If someone like Sarah Palin was a lil more active on the internet, perhaps she wouldve been able to use Google Maps or Google Earth to learn that Africa IS A CONTINENT. Lol, I had to go there. I still cant believe people were lying to themselves by acting as if that woman was fit to hold ANY kind of position of authority with regards to national and foreign matters.

I’ll check out that site now. I agree that it’s incredibly refreshing to have someone come to power who actually seems to know what’s going on.
